Lenna was showcased as a playable unit in early gameplay trailers. In Dusty Memories - Tales of the Seaside, it is explained that, when choosing her new name, UMP9 wanted to keep the pronunciation of her old name but change its spelling. In English, the result is a change from “Reina” into “Lenna”, which was purposefully included by Sunborn into promotional materials for the CN server. There is however no spelling difference in other languages: the Standard and Traditional Chinese versions both use 莱娜 (láinà), in Japanese レナ (rena), and in Korean 레나 (rena).
